In this episode, I dive deep into the disaster that is Fear Street: Prom Queen (2025). I watched it at 3am while dying (not literally), and let me tell you... this movie might’ve made me sicker. From cliché characters and cringey dialogue to a killer that looks like they shopped on Amazon at midnight, this slasher missed every mark. Hello, welcome back to the horror movie reviews podcast. Today, we’ll be looking at every single horror movie I saw this month, what it's reviewed, where you can watch it, what I thought of it, and what it's about without spoilers. I saw a wide range of horror this month, from sci-fi thrillers like Companion to whatever you call The Skin I Live In.

Sinners is a 2025 American horror film written, co-produced, and directed by Ryan Coogler. Set in 1932 in the Mississippi Delta, the film stars Michael B. Jordan in dual roles as twin brothers who return to their hometown to start again, only to be confronted by a supernatural evil. The film also features Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton, Jack O'Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Miller, and Delroy Lindo.

Drop is a 2025 American thriller film directed by Christopher Landon and written by Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach. It stars Meghann Fahy, Brandon Sklenar, Violett Beane, and Jeffery Self. In the film, a widowed mother receives threatening messages during her first date in years, which cause her to question her date and fear for her safety.
